Slow Start for Telugu Cinema: Big Stars Yet to Shine in 2024

Imagine 2024 as a movie with a slow start. Telugu film fans are waiting for the big blockbusters, and so far, the year hasn't delivered. Summer is usually a hot time for releases, but this year it was a dud. There weren't any major hits, and even June only has Prabhas' "Kalki 2898 AD." July is looking even quieter.

The good news is, the wait is almost over! August will be like the grand festival scene in a movie, packed with releases. From then on, it'll be a star-studded show with almost all the big actors hitting the screens in the last five months. We'll see movies from NTR, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, and many more. Some of the most anticipated films are NTR's "Devara," Allu Arjun's "Pushpa 2: The Rule," and Ram Charan's "Game Changer."

Here's a sneak peek at the release schedule for the rest of the year:

* June 27th: Kalki 2898 AD

* July 12th: Indian 2

* August (dates to be confirmed): Double iSmart, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, GOAT

* September: Devara: Part 1 and Lucky Baskhar (September 5th), Vettaiyan (September 27th)

* October: Vettaiyan (October 10th)

* December: Pushpa 2: The Rule (December 6th), Robinhood (December 20th), Thandel (December 21st)

There are even more movies coming out, but their release dates haven't been announced yet. These include "Game Changer," "Mr Bachchan," and films starring Vijay Deverakonda, Sharwanand, and others.

Will 2024 finally deliver the hit movies Telugu fans are craving? We'll have to wait and see!
