Words can hit harder than a punch, and Siddu Jonnalagadda showed that recently at a trailer launch. Known for DJ Tillu, Siddu has been keeping Telugu audiences entertained with different kinds of films. But during the promotions of his new romantic drama Telusu Kada, a journalist asked him, “Are you a womanizer in real life?” and things blew up on social media pretty fast.

At a press meet later, Siddu spoke out clearly. He said questions like that are just not cool. “If you play an undercover cop in a movie, does that make you like that in real life? If you play a drug addict on screen, does that define you off-screen? Movies are movies,” he said. Basically, he reminded everyone that actors play roles, they aren’t their characters.

He also pointed out the timing. The journalist had asked for an interview just five minutes earlier, then dropped that personal question. Siddu added that it’s not fair to expect a hero to answer everything, especially when the producers are paying for the project. His response got people talking about how reporters should handle questions. Fans mostly praised him, while some debated journalism ethics.

Meanwhile, Telusu Kada is still the main story. Siddu stars alongside Srinidhi Shetty and Raashi Khanna, and the trailer has already got a good response. The movie hits theaters on October 17. Siddu’s handling of the controversy made him look calm, smart, and professional, showing sometimes it’s better to pause, think, and answer carefully rather than just react.
