Ram Charan wasted two years at the peak of his career for Game Changer which turned out to be a bummer at the box office. Now, Thaman has exposed the big mistake in the film and here’s what he had to say on this matter.
Usually, after composing music for a film, the music director takes significant responsibility for its success or failure. However, in the case of Game Changer, Thaman seems to have shifted the blame onto the choreographers while responding to criticism about the songs.
Notably, a song’s success and audience connection do not depend solely on music or choreography. Several factors contribute to making a song memorable and popular—its tune, lyrics, dance movements, the hero’s energy, and overall presentation. Only when all these elements come together effectively does a song resonate with the audience.
For instance, the songs from Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo became massive hits not just because of the choreography. The catchy tunes, engaging hook lines, and Allu Arjun’s electrifying dance moves played a crucial role in their success.
In contrast, Game Changer’s songs didn’t create the same impact. Blaming only the choreography for the songs not connecting with the audience might not be entirely fair. The film’s overall execution, the way the songs were picturized, and even the music itself could have contributed to the underwhelming response.
