Thandel teams get best wishes from Rajulamma Jaathara
During the Rajulamma Jaathara festival, which is celebrated in Srikakulam, the locals expressed their hopes for the movie to be a big hit.
Naga Chaitanya, is currently busy shooting for a new movie called "Thandel" directed by Chandoo Mondeti, alongside actress Sai Pallavi. The movie is inspired by a real-life incident that happened in 2018, where fishermen from Srikakulam, Andhra Pradesh, accidentally ended up in Pakistan waters and were detained.
In an interview, Naga Chaitanya shared that he had the chance to meet these fishermen and hear their stories, which greatly influenced the love story aspect of the film. With this it's very clear that much of the movie will reflect the culture and experiences of Srikakulam.
Meanwhile, excitement for the film is high among the people of Srikakulam, who have been showing their support by creating posters and banners wishing the team of "Thandel" success. During the Rajulamma Jaathara festival, which is celebrated in Srikakulam, the locals expressed their hopes for the movie to be a big hit.
"Thandel" marks Chaitanya's third collaboration with director Chandoo Mondeti, following their successful projects "Premam" and "Savyasachi." It is also his second movie with Sai Pallavi, after their previous film "Love Story" directed by Sekhar Kammula.
The film is being presented by Allu Aravind's Geetha Arts and produced by Bunny Vasu. Music for the film is composed by Devi Sri Prasad, while Shamdat serves as the cinematographer. With such a talented team behind it, "Thandel" is expected to be an exciting addition to Naga Chaitanya's filmography.
