Director Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film “The Odyssey” is likely to hit cinemas on July 17th, and there will be some IMAX format screenings also, as the film was shot on original IMAX format film and cameras. As the bookings for that show opened on June 8th, there was a huge rush for the tickets. While the tickets in top-tier cities like Mumbai and Pune are priced at ₹700 to ₹1400 for the first week, this surge for tickets might actually lead to a higher hike in the prices. Already, the tickets of the 7 am show at Cinepolis Aundh and the 9 am show at Inox Megaplex in Pune are being sold for ₹2600 and ₹3000, respectively. This is the highest price for the best seats, while lower seats will get lower pricing.
