Of course, The Paradise got stunning hype, and that will surely make Nani a bankable star, but if the film had succeeded well and recovered everyone's investments, then the story would have been different. At the same time, the likes of Mahesh Babu have built a solid reputation in terms of saving the investments of producers, and that comes only with time, not with the success of a single film.
Even for Nani, he has to continue to deliver successful films in a row to become that believable Tier 1 hero, and also the content should impress many sections of the audience. So, beating the likes of Mahesh is not something to compare, but that position comes with time.
