No Beeps, No Mutes, No Cuts for Nani’s Film There

Nani’s much-awaited film The Paradise is creating strong excitement among movie lovers ahead of its worldwide release. The film is set to have its grand overseas premieres on September 23, one day before its theatrical release in India.

The overseas version of the film will be shown in a raw and uncut format. The overseas distributor Prathyangira Cinemas has announced that the movie will not have mute scenes, beep sounds or the 21 cuts that were made for the Indian version. This announcement has increased curiosity among fans who are waiting to watch the film in its original form.

The Paradise has also recorded a major milestone in North America. The film’s premiere pre-sales have crossed the $1.1 million mark, showing strong interest among overseas audiences. The makers and distributor are now expecting packed theatres during the premiere shows.

Directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise is a period action drama set in the slums of Secunderabad during the 1980s. The story focuses on a marginalised community that faces social discrimination and struggles for basic rights. Nani plays the central character Jadal, a fierce man who decides to fight against the system and challenge the injustice faced by his people.

The film has received an A certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in India. Because of the certification and the cuts made for the Indian release, some sections of the audience may not be able to watch the film in theatres. Nani has previously acknowledged this aspect and said that the story is much bigger than its violent scenes.

The Paradise marks the reunion of Nani and Srikanth Odela after their successful 2023 film Dasara. The new movie is produced by SLV Cinemas and features a strong supporting cast, including Mohan Babu, Kayadu Lohar, Sonali Kulkarni and Raghav Juyal.

While the Indian audience will watch the film from September 24, overseas viewers will get an early look through the September 23 premieres. With strong North American pre-sales and an uncut overseas version, The Paradise has created considerable buzz ahead of its release.
