Superstar Prabhas’ latest Telugu film ‘The Raja Saab’ is getting ready for a pan-India release on January 9th, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make it a grand horror saga ever seen on the silver screen. Currently, the film is in the process of Censor Certification, and here is what the early buzz says like.
As per industry buzz, the film has locked a length of around 3 hours 6 minutes runtime, which is considered a bit long earlier, but now, after the success of films like Dhurandhar (3 hours 30 minutes) feels very normal. Only if the audience could be held to sit in theatres for more than one and a half hours, for the first half and then the second half, then the runtime will not be a big issue. They are said to be waiting for the certificate, while the Censor show got screened already. The film is expected to get a U/A certificate as per the initial reports.
Apart from the Censor updates, Raja Saab’s songs have already done their job in keeping the buzz alive, along with Maruthi’s special behind-the-scenes videos where he’s talking about characters, sets, and visual effects of the movie. In the first week of January, the makers are planning to host a big event, the last pre-release function for Raja Saab, and the film heads to theatres on January 9th, 2026.
Featuring Prabhas in a dual role and Sanjay Dutt in a triple role, The Raja Saab is coated with the glamorous treat of three heroines, including Nidhie Aggerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Ridhi Kumar. Thaman’s background score is likely to become the biggest asset for the movie, like how the composer delivers riveting scores for thriller movies.
