These Are The Top 5 Movies This Week!

At the end of March, a lot of new movies have arrived to please the audience. A few of the releases arrived with good expectations. 'Om Bheem Bush' which arrived last week turned out to be a good hit and 'Tillu Square' managed to continue that trend of success this week. Malayalam dubbing movie 'The Goat Life – Adujeevitham' and English flick 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire' too arrive this week. Small film named 'Kaliyuga Pattanamlo' and the Bollywood movie 'Crew' have been released this week. Considering the movie talk, first-day collections and advance bookings, these are the top five movies this week.

Tillu Square

It is Siddu Jonnalagadda and Anupama Parameswaran's 'Tillu Square' that stood in the first place this week. 'DJ Tillu' arrived two years back with not much of expectations and became a blockbuster. 'Tillu Square' is a sequel of it and Mallik Ram directed it while Naga Vamsi along with Sai Soujanya produced it. The movie was released on 29th March and got a blockbuster talk. It collected 23 crores gross on the first day. This romantic entertainer had double the fun and double the madness. It is the first choice of the audience this weekend and the youth are going crazy over this movie. It got a 9.2 rating in BookMyShow. The advance bookings are amazing and the movie is expected to get huge collections.

The Goat Life – Adujeevitham

This movie is a survival drama featuring Malayalam star hero Prithviraj Sukumaran in the lead role. It came out in theatres on 28th March and Mythri Movie Makers released it in Telugu. Based on a true story, this movie has been in the making for many years. It is a movie about a person who leaves Kerala for a better life only to realize that he is conned in Saudi. He becomes a slave to the locals and spends years together living that atrocious life. How he survives with only hope and how he manages to get back to his country forms the rest of the story. Director Blessy made this film and it is getting a lot of craze. It has 9.5 in BookMyShow ratings and it is the best movie in terms of content. But it stands second in terms of box office collections.

Om Bheem Bush

This fun entertainer with zero logics which was released last weekend stood in third place. Starring Sree Vishnu, Priyadarshe and Rahul Ramakrishna in the lead roles, this movie is directed by Sri Harsha Konuganti. It is an out-and-out entertainer and people have laughed wholeheartedly throughout the movie. It is still getting decent collections in its second week.

Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire

This is the fifth film in this super hit franchise. It is a sequel to 'Godzilla vs Kong' and Adam Wingard is the director of it. It is released in English as well as many other languages on 29th March. Set in a fictional world, the movie follows an expected storyline but the grand visuals and fights work out big time. It is getting a very good response from one section of the audience. The kids as well as the multiplex audience are enjoying this film which made it stand in fourth place.

Crew

Tabu, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Kriti Sanon played lead roles in this crime comedy. The three of them play the roles of air hostesses. Rajesh Krishnan directed this Hindi movie which was released on 29th March. The promotional material attracted the audience but the movie got a mixed response. It got a lot of shows in multiplexes across Hyderabad but the bookings are not that great which made it sit in the last position.
