This Is Why 'Salaar' Is Arriving In December!

If there is one film for which every Prabhas fan is waiting for, it is 'Salaar'. This pan-Indian flick directed by Prasanth Neel is a complete action thriller and the makers have announced that it will hit the big screens on 22nd December. This created a huge buzz as King Khan SRK's 'Dunki' is releasing at the same time. As we know, 'Salaar' was supposed to be released on 28th September but got postponed.

Fans made a lot of plans to watch this film in September but the 'Salaar' team disappointed them. Many are wondering why they went all the way to the end of December. The insiders reveal that there is a strong reason for it. Prabhas has recently completed his knee surgery and it would take at least November for him to completely recover from it. Even if they plan it for Diwali, there will be a lot of issues as Prabhas may not be 100% fit and the team has to hurry a lot.

Being a pan-Indian film, a lot of promotions need to be done and they picked December as the perfect month for it. But they are competing with Shah Rukh Khan now. Let us see if their strategy works out or not.

Malayalam star hero Pruthvi Raj Sukumaran is playing a solid role in this movie while Jagapathi Babu is playing a key role. Shruti Hassan is the female lead while Ravi Basrur is giving the music. Vijay Kirangadur is producing the movie under Hombale Films banner and Prasanth Neel is the writer and director. Anbariv has choreographed the fights while big names like Bhuvan Gowda, Chalapathi, Ujwal Kulkarni, Ramarao and others have worked on this movie.
