Thrigun who made his acting debut with the film Katha is now busy in the popular reality show Bigg Boss Telugu 10. Meanwhile the old interview of the actor is once again getting attention on social media.

In the interview, Thrigun spoke about his debut and compared his journey with actor Naga Chaitanya’s early career. He recalled that his first film Katha and Naga Chaitanya’s debut film Josh were released around the same time.

Thrigun said that when he was young, he did not have enough understanding to judge performances or understand how awards worked. However, he said that he can understand the situation better now.

Talking about the Nandi Award received by Naga Chaitanya for Josh, Thrigun made an interesting comment. He said that the award may have been given because of the legacy of the Akkineni family.

Thrigun said that the Akkineni family has a very strong legacy in Telugu cinema. He felt that this legacy could have played a role in the recognition given to Naga Chaitanya.

Thrigun also said that he wished he had received the award at that stage of his career. He explained that for a middle-class boy like him, receiving such a prestigious award would have meant much more.

He said that if he had received the award, he would have treated it like a “Bharat Ratna” and worshipped it every day. At the same time, he suggested that for someone from a major film family like Akkineni, another award might not have carried the same personal significance.

Thrigun has acted in several Telugu films after his debut and has slowly built his career in the industry. His Bigg Boss entry has once again brought him into the spotlight.
