Fake Posters To Satisfy Rajinikanth's Ego?

Tamil superstar, Rajinikanth is one of the biggest names in South Indian cinema. In fact, he was one of the first pioneer of the pan Indian trend in Indian cinema as he had a huge following, not just in the South Indian states, but also in the conventional Hindi market.

However, leading distributor in Tamil Nadu, Tirupur Subramaniam has made a shocking statement regarding Rajinikanth now as he had strong opinions on the matter.

The leading producer commented that the makers of several films of Rajinikanth had to release fake posters, just to satisfy the ego of the Hero.

The mentioned distributor commented that the makers of Rajinikanth’s recent film, Vettaiyan had to release fake posters just to satisfy the ego of Rajinikanth and make it look like the film genuinely made money. He further noted that the same was the case with Rajni’s bygone film Kabali as well. He commented that fake posters were released just to portray that these films had made money while in reality they were sheer loss making ventures.

The distributor commented that he confronted the producers of Rajni‘s film by presenting them the hard proof about the losses incurred. “ When I approached the producers with the losses of the proofs, this matter reached Rajinikanth and he stopped speaking to me from then on.”

Another principal complaint raised by the leading distributor is that Rajinikanth is always adamant about his salaries and remuneration as he likes to take his share of the revenue, even if the film flops at the box office.

The general perception on Rajinikanth is that he is a larger-than-life superstar, who is always very caring about his producers, and that is the reason why he reached this peak point in his cinematic career. However, the mentioned distributor who is leading first in Tamil cinema has a completely different opinion of Rajinikanth and this might come as a strong point of conflict for everyone involved.
