Tollywood Biggies: What’s The Shoot Status?

There are a lot of biggies right now that are ready to hit the box office in the Telugu states. But then, the big thing is that a lot of them are actually going through a lot of issues at the moment, including Fauzi’s teaser missing out on the iconic August 15th date. This is now creating confusion among film lovers about whether these biggies are arriving on said date.

Coming on the 26th, we have Yash’s Toxic, but that film missed out on two dates in March 2026, and that’s a big shocker. Now, if we look at films in production, the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s next, being directed by KS Bobby and Balakrishna’s next with Gopichand Malineni are locked for late 2026 first and also thought about for Sankranthi, but both the films are currently running late. The same is the case with the likes of Prabhas and Vanga’s Spirit and Rajamouli-Mahesh Babu’s Varanasi, which are set for a March-April release next year, but currently the production is missing timelines.

Similarly, the likes of Jr NTR’s Dragon is suffering due to the hero sustaining injuries, and then Raaka is due to visual effects. While Dragon already locked date, Raaka is yet to find one. Inside talk is that both of them might miss out on the planning. With the shoot status of these biggies running late at the moment, surely it’s not going to be an interesting sign for Tollywood.
