After A While, Comedy Overdrive In Tollywood!

The last time that Tollywood audience could fully cherish, a proper comedy entertainer was back when Tilly Square released. Ever since, then, not even a single proper true blue comedy entertainer released in theatres and opened to unanimous response.

However, we finally have two new contender in this regard, and they are Robin Hood and Mad Square. Both the films are coincidentally releasing on March 28, and it just so happens to be that both of them belong to comedy entertainment genre.

It needs to be said that there is a lot of void and vacuum for comedy entertainers in Tollywood and the responsibility is on these two films to fulfil the same without fail.

The best part is that both the films had good trailers that promised well-rounded entertainment, and there is every chance that they could be bringing the house down with comical laughs as soon as they hit the theatres.

In terms of expectations and box office prospects, both the films are carrying nearly equal hype and anticipation. A lot will depend on the early word of mouth, and also the kind of reviews they manage to attain.

When it comes to paid premier, it is Mad Square, which is on the aggressive front and going for premier across the Telugu states tonight. The makers of Robin Hood have conservatively decided not to go for paid premier due to the bad experience they had in the past.

Nevertheless, it has to be seen which of these two film films will be able to bring the biggest laughs from the Telugu folk.
