We often hear about films getting affected by politics, bans, or market shifts, with Jana Nayagan being the recent exapmle. But now, a completely different angle is coming into play as global conflicts are hitting personal investments of film stars. As per industry talk, the ongoing tensions involving the US, Iran, and Israel have indirectly landed two Telugu heroes in a difficult spot, with their investments locked up.

It’s no secret that many actors invest their earnings in properties so that they can turn into a massive wealth. From Bollywood to Tollywood, this is a common game. In fact, within their inner circles, stars often exchange tips on where to invest and how to grow money outside the cinema. The likes of NTR, ANR, and Chiranjeevi invested massively in underdeveloped Hyderabad back in the 90s, and the dividends they made from that are insane. Treading in the same path, these two heroes, interestingly, been silent business partners for over a decade by investing in the real-estate market, buying some luxury properties.

A couple of years ago, after detailed planning and consultations, they entered the Dubai real estate market with a chunk of investment. Timing initially worked in their favour. Early investments gave them solid returns, boosting confidence further, as they sold their villas and apartments for almost 4x the investment. However, with geopolitical tensions rising in the Middle East, the situation took a drastic turn. The Iran-Israel war threatened Dubai with missiles, and the real estate market there has seen fluctuations.

Due to that, the profits these two made earlier are now getting wiped out. Exit options are not as smooth as before. The heroes are said to be in huge tension now.
