T Box Office: Have A Look At March 2026 Prospects

After a lot of slump, the Tollywood box office had witnessed a mega rise in collections during the Sankranti season. All the Sankranthi released films, except one or two, have done extremely well at the box office, thus giving much-needed relief to distributors and exhibitors also. However, when the trade circuit thought that this would be extended to February as well, they got the shocker and the first part of the year itself.

In fact, most of the Telugu films, including Gunasekhar's Euphoria, Vishwaksen’s Funky, Santosh Soban's Couple Friendly, and Shri Vishnu’s Vishnu Vinyasam, have released in March but haven't performed as expected. Despite getting rave reviews, some of these movies didn't strike a chord at the box office, thus not giving a breather to the trade circuits. Now that Tollywood has moved to March 2026, many are wondering what is in store this month with movies.

We have the likes of Varalakshmi Sarathkumar’s Saraswati, Shri Vishnu Mrityunjay, Lavanya Tripathi’s Sathi Leelavathi, and Sivaji’s Sampradayani Suttini Suddapusani releasing in the first two weeks of the month. Then we have biggies like Dhurandhar 2, Yash’s Toxic, and Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh parked toward the last two weeks. Will the box office find some respite?

Currently, all of these films have started their promotional work, and they are hoping that despite major threats like exam season, the T20 World Cup final, and the incoming IPL 2026, which starts from March 28th, will score massively at the box office.
