A couple of months ago, everyone was talking about the Sankranthi 2027 slot, and most Tollywood releases are getting delayed, targeting that date. But now, it has come to a situation where the release of films is likely to be a cyclone for the next couple of months. Guess what, until Sankranthi 2027 arrives, it’s going to be a stunning weekend every week. Have a look at it.
Starting with this weekend, we have Adarsha Kutumbam, Cult and Killer hitting cinemas on October 30th, while a couple of small movies are also being released. Cut to November, we have Ramayana, Suriya’s Scene, Summer Holidays and Maha Sakthi hitting cinemas on November 5th and 6th, to cash on the Diwali weekend. Then comes the November 12th-13th slot, where the likes of Sharwa’s Bhogi, newcomer Anish’s Itlu Arjuna, Little Heart’s fame hero’s Donga Na Koduku, Dark Chocolate and other movies hit cinemas.
That will be followed by Tarun Bhaskar’s sequel to the iconic Ee Nagaraniki Emaindi on Nov 19th; then there is Dhanush’s OM and Dulquer Salmaan’s Aakasam Lo Okatara on 20th. Bellamkond Srinivas’ Haindava and Rashmika Mandanna’s Mysaa are targeting the 27th of November.
Then comes December, which has Fauzi missing out on the 3rd and the likes of Naga Chaitanya’s Vrushakarma, Vishwaksen’s Legacy, and Nithin’s Alias Rukmini taking up the slot on the 4th. There is an interesting film, Idupu Kayitham, set for Dec 11th, while Hollywood movies Dune 3 and Avengers: Doomsday are taking up the 17th and 18th, to capitalise on the Christmas holidays. Then comes the mighty holiday on 24th and 25th, where the likes of Balakrishna’s Dada, Nagarjuna’s King and Kiran Abbavaram’s Reality are hitting screens. Hindi film Shah Rukh Khan’s King is also hitting cinemas on the same day.
And then as the New Year enters, there are the likes of Mahakali on Jan 8th, and the bunch of biggies like Chiru’s Kaaka, Venky’s January 13 Vidudala, Sharwa’s George Krish and Maruthi’s Family Pack hitting cinemas on Sankranthi eve, on January 12, 13, 14, and 15.
That means, for the next two months, every weekend, it’s going to be a cyclone of movies, and the Telugu audience is likely to have superior fun for sure.
