Tollywood Youngsters Making Everyone Wait!

On one hand, we have senior heroes like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna who are working tirelessly even in their late sixties. They are taking up one movie after another and keeping themselves busy. They are releasing at least one or two films per year. Heroes like Ravi Teja are going at jet speed by making sure that there are a minimum of three releases every year. Star heroes like Ram Charan, NTR, Prabhas, Mahesh, Allu Arjun and others are making grand projects that are taking a year or two in the making but they are completely involved in it.

Prabhas has 'Kalki 2898 AD', 'Raja Saab', 'Spirit' and 'Salaar 2' lined up. NTR has 'Devara 1 & 2', 'War 2' and #NTR31 with Prasanth Neel in the pipeline. Ram Charan is working on 'Game Changer' and is all set to begin #RC16 with Buchi Babu. Mahesh has Rajamouli's project in hand and his 'Guntur Karam' released last month. The same is the situation with Allu Arjun. But there are a few youngsters who are yet to begin their next projects and are making everyone wait.

Sai Dharam Tej has arrived last year with 'Virupaksha' and 'Bro'. They both made good money. He announced 'Gaanja Shankar' with Sampath Nandi but it did not start till date and there are doubts raised over this project. There is also a rumor that he is going to work with his 'Chitralahari' director Kishore Tirumala. But nothing has been confirmed.

Akhil Akkineni tasted a huge disaster through 'Agent'. There is a lot of suspense surrounding his next project. He is being very careful regarding his choice in scripts these days. There is a talk that he is about to start a movie with debutant Anil Kumar under UV Creations banner. But it is nearly a year after 'Agent' and Akhil is yet to start his next movie.

Vaisshnav Tej made his entry with a banger like 'Uppena'. His next film 'Konda Polam' got critical applause but failed commercially. Movies like 'Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga' and 'Adikeshava' failed badly at the box office. He is trying to act cautious regarding his upcoming flicks and sources say that he hasn't okayed anything till date.

Naveen Polishetty has given one hit after another like 'Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya', 'Jathi Ratnalu' and 'Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty'. He took a long gap after 'Jathi Ratnalu' but managed to score a big hit last year. But there is no confirmation regarding this next movie. 'Anaganaga Raju' was announced long back but it did move forward. He is trying to give quality content to the audience and he asked everyone to be patient while he figures out his next movie.

Even Rana Daggubati is yet to arrive with a solo hero project. No one knows about the progress of 'Rakshasa Raju' with Teja and there is no update regarding 'Hiranyakashapa' too. He is currently playing a key role in Rajnikanth's upcoming film with Lokesh Kanagaraj.
