Toxic Heroines: Three Ladies From Three Communities?
While Kiara Advani is playing Nadia, Huma Qureshi will be seen as Elizabeth, and Nayanthara plays the role of Ganga.;
The makers of ‘Toxic’, starring KGF sensation Yash and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Geethu Mohandas, seem to be quietly setting up something far deeper than a conventional action drama. What has caught the attention of movie buffs is not just the film or its casting, but the three female characters, played by Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, and Huma Qureshi.
In fact, these heroines are named differently in the movie, but looking at their names will ring a bell. While Kiara Advani is playing Nadia, Huma Qureshi will be seen as Elizabeth, and Nayanthara plays the role of Ganga. Needless to say, these three character names hint at three different cultural and community backgrounds. That’s what became talk of the town now.
Kiara Advani’s Nadia suggests a modern, possibly urban or globally influenced identity, while Huma Qureshi’s Elizabeth clearly carries a Western resonance. At the same time, Nayanthara might be playing Ganga, a role that has deeper roots in Indian society. However, all three heroines are playing modern looks for these characters, and somewhat glamorous too.
Anyway, many more characters are going to be released from the film before the teaser and trailer of the film come out. Toxic is getting ready to hit cinemas in March 2026.
