Tripti Dimri Breaks Silence on Bold Image 'Can’t Please Everyone!'
While the role propelled her career forward, it also attracted some criticism, which the actress has chosen to brush off with confidence.
Bollywood beauty Tripti Dimri rose to fame with her bold portrayal in Animal, a high-profile project starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. While the role propelled her career forward, it also attracted some criticism, which the actress has chosen to brush off with confidence.
In a candid interview with Bollywood media, Tripti reflected on the backlash, acknowledging that not everyone would be pleased with her choices. “I am someone who wants to give 100 percent. If I find the character or the story interesting, I want to give my all. That’s what I’ve learned if it works, it works, and if it doesn’t, it doesn’t. We won’t always be liked by everybody. There will be some people who like you, and some who don’t. You can’t keep all that noise in mind. You have to follow your heart and do things that you feel are right,” she shared.
When questioned about trying to shed her “overtly sexualised" image, Tripti dismissed the notion. She explained that her goal is to explore diverse roles that keep her engaged and challenged. “The aim is to play different characters because I don’t want to go to a set and feel bored. I want to feel challenged and wonder, ‘How will this happen?’ and then make it happen,” she stated, highlighting her passion for the craft.
Currently, Tripti is focused on her upcoming roles, Dhadak 2, where she will star opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi.
