Triptii Dimri’s Casting in Spirit Sparks Rumoured Boyfriend’s Reaction

Not every casting news sets off a social media ripple, but Triptii Dimri joining Spirit just did. Fresh off the buzz from Animal, where her performance turned heads, Triptii is now set to star opposite Superstar Prabhas in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-awaited film. And while fans celebrated, someone else quietly cheered from the sidelines.

Sam Merchant, rumoured to be dating Triptii, didn’t write a long note or drop hearts  just a clean, simple gesture. He shared the casting announcement on his Instagram stories with clapping emojis. No words needed, but the message was clear: proud and supportive.

Adding to the wave, director Ram Gopal Varma chimed in on X (formerly Twitter), praising Sandeep’s choice. He called Triptii’s screen presence in Animal “tremendous” and even went on to say she’s on track to become “the NEXT BIG THING IN BOLLYWOOD.”

So while the film is still in the early stages, the attention around Triptii is growing fast  from fans, filmmakers, and maybe from someone a bit more personal. Spirit hasn’t started rolling, but Triptii’s already commanding the frame.
