Ace director Trivikram Srinivas hasn’t given any special interviews after the release of Guntur Kaaram movie, much to the disappointment of his fans.
However, on the occasion of the re-release celebrations of Nuvvu Naaku Nachav movie, which completes 25 years and is hitting theatres again on January 1st, he spoke to producer Sravanthi Ravikishore at length in a special interview.
One of the highlights of the conversation was Trivikram’s narration style, which Sravanthi Ravi Kishore described as visual storytelling. They spoke about casting Prakash Raj as the heroine’s father once Trivikram gave the dialogue-reading, that there were 22 scenes in total, and that fixed their actor too.
From writing dialogues to being present on sets, dubbing sessions and even the New Zealand schedule, Trivikram revealed how deeply he was involved in the K Vijaya Bhaskar directorial.
Also, the interview paid a heartfelt tribute to lyricist Sirivennela, whose lyrics for the songs of Nuvvu Naaku Nachhav remain timeless. They emphasise in their conversation how the song ‘O Navvu Chalu’ was written under pressure and turned magical, and how Sirinivennela never delivered half-baked work.
Above all, Trivikram gave full credit to Victory Venkatesh, calling him the soul of Nuvvu Naaku Nachav.
“Some films give money, some give fame, but very few give respect,” says Trivikram, concluding the chat, thus giving a lot of fun, facts, and trivia about this movie.
