Re-Release Gets More Money Than Actual Release!

'Tumbbad' is considered one of the best horror movies to be ever made on Indian cinema. Many critics and audiences speak highly about the movie and it is considered a classic. This fantasy thriller paired with horror elements did not get a lot of collections but remains one of the most underrated movies in this genre.

The director Rahil Anil Barve showcased his talent and this film which released back in 2018 has gotten a re-release. It came out in theatres on 13th September and got decent collections too. The re-release minted 7.34 days in three days while it got 3.04 crores in Sunday alone. It got 125% more than what it earned during its initial release back in 2018.

With decent collections on Monday too, 'Tumbbad' is going to do very good business. The team has already announced the second part which will come out soon. Sohum Shah, Harsh, Jyoti Malshe, Rudra Soni, Madhav Hari Joshi, Piyush Kaushik, Anita Date-Kalkar, Deepak Damle and others played main roles.

Sohum, Anand L Rai, Mukesh Shah and Amita Shah are the producers. Jesper Kyd composed music for this film and it is great to see an underrated film getting the love it deserves even after years.
