Entrance Of Under-18s Result In Delay Of 'Salaar' Screening!
The popular theatre chain decided to send the under-18s out of the theatre. The situation became messy and police assistance was required.
Rebel Star Prabhas' action drama 'Salaar' is registering massive numbers at the box office. The movie is running with packed crowds and fans are celebrating this film as they got a success after a long time. The heroism and drama worked well in theatres and action lovers are having a treat. As we know, the movie was given 'A' certificate by the censor board due to excessive violence.
The movie does not have foul language or vulgar scenes or intimate romance but the 'A' certificate prevented the film from having any under-18 kid into the theatre officially. While many single screens are not strict on following this rule, the popular theatre chain decided to send the under-18s out of the theatre. The situation became messy and police assistance was required.
Frustrated by all this, a ticket buyer wrote, "It's been 45 minutes & the show hasn't started at PVR Atrium, Hyderabad for #Prabhas's #Salaar. Staff is saying people below 18 have entered the screen and they won't start until they leave. It's their responsibility to prevent them in the first place. Management is still resolving the issue with police????? We expect compensation for wasting our time!! PVR management could have prevented this situation at the entrance."
Strictly enforcing these laws is not possible in India as the staff cannot control the crowd who arrive in hundreds together and it is quite challenging.
