'Uppena' Girl's Craze Dips Drastically!
She signed multiple films in quick succession. She followed the blockbuster success of 'Uppena' with a good hit like 'Shyam Singha Roy'.
Some actors make a stellar entry into the film industry and steal the spotlight instantly. But they fade away instantly due to various reasons. It looks like Krithi Shetty is quickly falling under this category. The young beauty made a spectacular debut with 'Uppena'. Her adorable looks and infectious smile made the youth fall in love with her. She did decently in the film too which made the producers line up in front of her house for dates.
She signed multiple films in quick succession. She followed the blockbuster success of 'Uppena' with a good hit like 'Shyam Singha Roy'. Though the movie was a hit, it was Nani and Sai Pallavi who walked away with all the plaudits. But Krithi secured a hit and her next film was 'Bangarraju' which turned out be a success as well. Though the critics pointed out her blank expressions in the movie, hattrick hits made her the most wanted heroine in the industry. But things went downhill instantly for her.
Her bilingual action drama 'The Warriorr' with Ram Pothineni ended up being a disaster. The routine narration is the main reason for the failure and she had very less to do in the movie. Her next outing 'Macherla Niyojakavargam' is also a big failure. She played an insignificant role in the movie. Though she had a lot of scope for acting in 'Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali', the film did not impress the viewers at all. Her last outing 'Custody' was a flop as well. After hattrick hits, she faced four disasters and her mediocre acting skills were on full display as well.
Barring Sharwanand's film, she does not have any Telugu project in her hand and the arrival of Sreeleela at the same time did not help Krithi Shetty at all. She is currently doing a Malayalam film, a Tamil project as well. We need to see if she makes a good comeback in Tollywood or not.
What's more interesting is the fact that even 'Uppena' hero Vaisshnav Tej is struggling for success. After 'Uppena', his movies like 'Konda Polam', 'Ranga Ranga Vaibhavanga' and 'Aadikeshava' ended up as fops. Even director Buchi Babu is yet to start his next project with Ram Charan.
