While speaking to Lehren TV, Urvashi compared her film to Game Changer. She said, “Shankar sir is a celebrated director. I have worked with him before in Indian 2. I think the entire game has changed because even that film had a lot of hype." She added, "If Kiara Advani's Game Changer is a disaster and my Daaku Maharaaj is a blockbuster, it is not my fault. I wonder why these tweets are happening.”

Urvashi's statements upset many people online. Some criticized her for being arrogant. One user said, “This is peak delusion. She is losing it day by day.” Another person commented, “One hit film and she is behaving like this. Is she jealous?”
