"Criticism Is Easy, Time Will Reveal the Truth”; Varalaxmi About Thalapathy Vijay

Actor Varalaxmi Sarathkumar recently met actor-turned-politician and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay along with her husband, Nicholai Sachdev. She later shared a few pictures from the meeting on Instagram and posted a heartfelt note expressing her admiration and support for Vijay.

Varalaxmi began her post by saying, "I pondered over what to say about this post but then I realised so much has been said already... so just wanted to say one thing." She added, "People may say a 100 different things... But at the end of the day... C. Joseph Vijay is our Chief Minister and he's here to stay..!!"

The actress praised Vijay's political journey and wrote, "Criticism is easy, but being elected as Chief Minister on the first attempt requires immense courage, determination, and an overwhelming love from the people of TN." She also requested everyone to give him time and respect, saying, "Actions indeed speak louder than words. To those who constantly find faults, time will reveal the truth. Until then, let's exercise a bit of patience, respect, and encouragement to see what he truly accomplishes."

Varalaxmi also spoke about her long-time admiration for Vijay. She wrote, "I loveeeee youuuu saaaarrr.. always have always will be a 'Vijay Veriyan'." She thanked him for spending time with her and her husband during the meeting.

The actress also remembered an old conversation with Vijay. She shared, "Laughing about what I told him on the sets of 'Sarkar' I knew then that this was his journey." Calling him "Always warm and humble," Varalaxmi revealed that they also discussed a few women welfare-related issues during their interaction.

She ended her emotional note with a heartfelt wish, saying, "I'm looking forward to see the amazing changes unfold for the people of Tamil Nadu. God bless you sir and may the people of TN flourish under your leadership."
