Bloodshed in Re releases: Tollywood Must Change!

Usually, Tollywood is very welcoming of the newly acquired trend of re releasing popular films. This tradition got continued today in the form of the arrival of Varsham, which marks the collaboration of Prabhas and Trisha, which was a cult blockbuster back in the day.

On the occasion of the film, getting released in theatres again, fans were wildly celebrating the same. However, there was this one extremely unfortunate incident that happened at the theatre and it has started to grab the attention on social media.

In a viral video, that is grabbing the attention all over, we see a set of fans, thrashing one particular individual. Reportedly, this is due to the fact that the individual in question here reportedly raised a slogan against Prabhas.

This immediately escalated the situation and triggered the fans who were at the theatres and their responded in a very violent manner. It is now being established that the individual who got beaten up had sustained severe injuries to his head.

Reportedly the injured man had to sustain several stitches to his forehead and his nose was broken. These videos are now being circulated in the name of elevation posts as shocking as it may appear.

The fundamental point that must be noted here is that these incidents are extremely unfortunate, and they simply have no legal or logical backing. Putting a person’s life under risk over some theatrical release is as jobless and illogical as it can get.

It is extremely unfortunate to note that such incidents are happening even to this day in the name of fanism and hatred. It needs to be said that the time has come for Tollywood to mend its ways.
