Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde recently wrapped up the Rishikesh schedule of their upcoming film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai which is directed by David Dhawan. The duo marked the completion of the shoot by taking a dip in the river celebrating the moment together.
The two actors posted a video on social media playfully jumping into the river while the popular song Ishq Sona Hai from Biwi No 1 played in the background. They captioned the post, “Jaawan hai toh jump marna hai!!” The lighthearted moment captured the excitement and joy of completing the Rishikesh schedule.
The film produced by Ramesh Taurani, is said to be a fun family entertainer with a quirky love triangle featuring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur and Sreelela. Reports suggest that David Dhawan has brought his signature comic style to the film which is anticipated to recreate the charm of classic Bollywood comedies.
During their stay, Varun and Pooja also participated in local cultural activities. They planted a Rudraksha sapling at the Parmarth Niketan premises and also took part in the Ganga aarti and received blessings from Pujya Swamiji.
Meanwhile the film was initially set for an October 2025 release but an official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
