Director Anil Ravipudi has delivered another box office winner, this Sankranti season in the form of Sankranthiki Vastunnam. The film has opened on a strong note at the box office, and it is very much on course to end up as the Sankranthi winner in terms of investments and theatrical returns.

Coming to the topic now, it is appearing to be that this Venkatesh film has cleared the path for Anil Ravipudi’s upcoming film with Megastar Chiranjeevi.

Apparently, this script was originally narrated to Chiranjeevi and it was to be produced by Dil Raju. However, Chiranjeevi dropped the idea at the last minute, and as a result, Anil took this same script to Venkatesh and materialised this film. In the end, Venkatesh ended up scoring a huge hit with a script that was originally prepared for Chiranjeevi.

However, more importantly, Chiranjeevi is said to have understood the capabilities of director Anil, and he has decided to work with this talented film maker next. After having witnessed the kind of success, Sankranthiki Vastunnam is garnering at the box office Chiranjeevi has principally agreed to work with Anil for his next film.

Essentially speaking, Venkatesh has streamlined the film that marks the collaboration of Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi, thanks to Sankranthiki Vastunnam.

Considering the immensely successful track record exhibited by Anil thus far it has to be seen what kind of stuff he will conceive for Chiranjeevi this time around. The natural expectation is that he will tap into the vintage side of Chiranjeevi that his fans have been so dearly missing in recent past. If everything goes as planned, this film could start production this year and prepare for release next Sankranti season.
