Take A Bow Victory Venkatesh!

Senior hero Venkatesh Daggubati is aged 65 and still tries to deliver 3 films in two years, while many other star heroes are failing to do so. At the same time, even though he gets paired with heroines who are half his age, or just above the half-mark, the superstar never gets criticised because of his fitness. But then, there’s another thing that one should say: nothing but ‘take a bow’ when it comes to Venky.

Well, among the present-day superstars, the senior ones or the juniors, including Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Pawan Kalyan, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, none has done amazing multi-starrer films. Barring the likes of RRR, other stars haven’t done such a combination, and if they have done, it’s with Venkatesh only. Venkatesh teamed up with Mahesh for Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, then did Venky Mama with his nephew Naga Chaitanya, Masala with Ram Pothineni, F2 and F3 series with Varun Tej, and teamed up with Chiranjeevi for Mana Shankara Varaprasad Garu. Without stopping the buck, he has now teamed up with Kalyan Ram as well.

Without looking at the range, craze, age and market of the stars who are teaming up with him, Venkatesh Daggubati is simply doing a good job. Only if stars team up with other stars for movies, surely there will be new story opportunities, and other forms of explorations will come forward. If they don’t do multi-starrers, even the audience will also get bored. But Telugu cinema never properly acknowledged this trend, and hope they take a leaf out of Venkatesh’s life and implement it down the lane.
