Venkatesh opens up on Rana Naidu 2 and its bold content

While Venkatesh is currently occupied with the film 'Saindhav,' he also shared some insights about Rana Naidu Season 2. It is a known fact that Victory Venkatesh and his nephew Rana Daggubati joined forces for the web series Rana Naidu. While it was a hit on OTT, it faced criticism for its explicit content. Venkatesh discussed the series during the teaser launch of his upcoming film 'Saindhav.'

When asked about Rana Naidu and its bold content, Venkatesh acknowledged the show's global popularity. He revealed that people even called him "Naga Naidu" during a recent cricket match he attended. He explained that the bold content in Rana Naidu wasn't suitable for Telugu audiences, and they have toned it down for the Telugu version of Season 2. Netflix, which produced the series, announced the second season, and filming will commence soon.

Venkatesh mentioned, "Considering the Telugu and South audience, the explicit content and profanity have been reduced for the second season. The script is being tailored accordingly. During the India-Pakistan cricket match in Ahmedabad, the audience referred to me as Naga. The second season of Rana Naidu will be appealing to the audience."

Venkatesh is aware of the criticism from family audiences for the first season of Rana Naidu and is determined to ensure that the second season caters to a broader range of viewers.
