Kingdom's Venkitesh Reveals Mother’s Wish for Villain Legacy

The action spy thriller Kingdom recently released, with Venkitesh V. P. playing the villain Murugan. He spoke about how his family feels seeing him in negative roles.

Venkitesh said his whole family are Rajinikanth fans. “From my father to my mother, we all love Thalaiva. I once told my mother I wanted to be a hero,” he said. Her reply surprised him.

“She told me, ‘No, you should be a villain,’” he recalled. His mother is a big fan of Raghuvaran and wanted him to follow that path.

Venkitesh said his mother was thrilled when she watched his previous movie in theatres and heard the audience clap for him. “Seeing her happy is enough for me,” he said.
