Venky said Chiranjeevi has been his favourite hero since childhood. So, making a film with him is a very special opportunity. He feels that such a project cannot be made in a hurry. The story must be strong enough to match Chiranjeevi's image and experience.

The director also said that he wants to become more mature as a filmmaker before taking up such a big responsibility. He wants every part of the project to be carefully planned. Only when he feels the right story and right time have arrived, he wants to make the film with Chiranjeevi.

Venky also spoke about his relationship with producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sithara Entertainments. Even after his earlier film Rang De did not succeed, Naga Vamsi continued to trust him and gave him opportunities. Venky said he is thankful for that support and wants to continue his journey with the production house.
