Bollywood filmmakers are making biopics and movies based on true events lately. Such movies get a very good reception recently and patriotism is a theme that is always welcomed by the audience. Some real-life incidents really make a good cinema and 'URI' is the best example of it. Happening hero Vicky Kaushal played the lead role in this film which came back in 2019. Based on the surgical strike by the Indian Army on Pakistan, this film was made.

With a touch of fiction and real stories from the army, the makers developed a patriotic action drama which was made with 25 crores. It became a blockbuster and got 245 crores worldwide. The dialogues like 'How Is the Josh?' and others became very popular and the audience were treated to adrenaline-pumping acting with strong emotions. The movie ended up getting the highest profits that year.

'URI' made Vicky Kaushal a star and Yami Gautham played the female lead in this movie. Sources say that a sequel is in plans now. The script work is underway and the official announcement regarding this project will be coming out soon. As we know, the reason for the surgical strike in URI was the Pulwama attack. The Pakistan army ambushed the vehicle carrying Indian soldiers and killed 40 of our men.

Apparently, the sequel is also going to be made around Pulwama attacks and we need to see what title it gets. Based on the nation's mood at that time, 'URI' became a super hit and it will be interesting to see if the sequel gets the same reception from the audience after 5-6 years or not.
