Actor Vijay Deverakonda recently reacted to a court order that aims to protect a film from unfair and planned negative campaigns. The court issued directions to online ticket booking platforms, asking them not to allow reviews and ratings for the film Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, which stars Chiranjeevi. This step was taken to stop deliberate attempts by certain groups to damage the film’s image.
Sharing his thoughts on social media, Vijay Deverakonda said he feels both happy and sad about the situation. He expressed relief that the court has stepped in to protect the hard work, money, and dreams of the people who worked on the film. According to him, making a movie takes years of effort, and it is unfair when organized negativity tries to destroy it within hours of release.
At the same time, Vijay said he feels deeply disappointed that such situations are happening at all. He pointed out that it is painful to see people from within the industry and even from the audience deliberately trying to harm films. He added that the idea of supporting each other and growing together seems to be slowly disappearing.
Vijay also said that when a film featuring a legendary actor like Chiranjeevi becomes a target of such attacks, it clearly shows how serious the problem is. He believes the court understood this danger and acted at the right time. While he admitted that one court order cannot solve everything, he feels it is an important first step in the right direction.
Looking back at his own journey, Vijay shared that since the time of Dear Comrade, he has noticed political agendas and hidden conspiracies aimed at damaging his films. He said that for many years, his concerns were not taken seriously. However, filmmakers who later worked with him realized how dangerous and organized these attacks can be.
Vijay revealed that he has spent many sleepless nights thinking about who is behind such conspiracies, why films are being targeted, and how cinema can be protected. He said this is not just about him, but also about safeguarding the future of the next generation of actors and filmmakers.
Ending his message on a hopeful note, Vijay Deverakonda said he is glad the court has recognized how harmful such groups can be.
