Setupathi's Real Flashback Is Inspirational

One of the highest-paid actors in the South at the moment is the talented Vijay Sethupathi, who is not at all building stardom but only building a cult fanbase for the choice of films he does. He’s currently shooting for Mani Ratnam’s love story, where he joined hands with super performer Sai Pallavi, and the film is expected to stun the audience.

Before entering movies, Vijay Setupathi worked hard jobs such as a salesman, cashier, manager, and more, and he also worked in Middle Eastern countries like Dubai. The actor says that during their childhood, they were so poor, and when loan sharks came to his house to collect interest, he would not even run away, but sit with his father to face them. That made him courageous, hard-working, and responsible as well. He stated that these acts made him mature irrespective of his age, and it also helped him portray some roles effectively.

Though cinema is never Vijay’s cup of tea, he got into theatre somehow, and later that passion turned into becoming a lead actor. With films like Pizza and Soodhu Kavvum, he became dear to Tamil and Telugu audiences as well, and movies like Vikram Vedha, 96, Master, Vikram and Maharaja just took him to the next level.

In his Telugu debut, Vijay Setupathi would be seen in Puri Jagan’s “Slumdog” movie, which is currently in its post-production phase.
