Hero’s Love For Mani, Injustice To Jagan
Good films are coming his way, and he is scaling up every day.
At a time when many thought that his career is almost over due to the choice of films he is picking up in a row, Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi stunned everyone with his stunning role as a villain in “Vikram”, and since then his fortunes have changed. Good films are coming his way, and he is scaling up every day.
The other day, when Vijay Sethupathi walked down at the Kolkata Airport, people got stunned by his new look as he lost oodles of weight and looked quite suave in the salt-and-pepper makeover. He is said to have gone there to take part in the shooting of his upcoming film, which is being produced and directed by none other than Mani Ratnam. No doubt, his looks are going to be a killer of sorts, and with Mani being the filmmaker known for showcasing his heroes best, surely it works.
However, Telugu fans are shocked to see that when Vijay Sethupathi is playing a convincing role in “Slumdog - 33 Temple Road”, a film directed by Puri Jagan, he hasn’t lost weight but looks very heavy. They are calling out the injustice meted out to Puri by Vijay Sethupathi on a joking note. However, Puri-Sethupati’s film is not getting released as expected due to unknown hurdles.
But when it comes to Mani Ratnam’s movies, many heroes do such transformations, and nothing is new about that. But then, if heroes do that for other star directors as well, it will be good.
