Actor Vijay Varma has become one of the most respected performers in the Hindi film industry. His roles in movies and web series have earned him praise from both audiences and critics. However, his journey to success was not easy. Recently, Vijay spoke about the struggles he faced before becoming a well-known actor.

In a recent interview, Vijay shared that he briefly tried modelling in Hyderabad before entering films. During that time, he had an unpleasant experience with a modelling coordinator. He revealed that the person behaved in an inappropriate way, making him feel uncomfortable.

Recalling the incident, Vijay said, "He started to misbehave with me a little bit, like just trying to get a little touchy-feely. I said, 'Bro, what is this? What are you doing?'" He added that the experience discouraged him because he was new to the industry and did not know how to handle such situations.

Instead of giving up on his dream, Vijay decided to focus completely on acting. He believed that if acting was his real passion, he should face the challenges directly and continue working towards his goal.

His journey was still full of obstacles. Vijay first applied to a theatre school in Hyderabad to learn acting, but his application was rejected. The institute felt that acting required long-term commitment and dedication. Vijay admitted that he was disappointed because he was not even given a chance to prove himself.

Later, he applied to the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), one of the country's top acting schools. Even there, he faced rejection on his first attempt. However, he did not lose hope. He applied again and was finally selected. At FTII, he trained with talented actors including Rajkummar Rao and Jaideep Ahlawat.

Today, Vijay Varma is known for his powerful performances in films and web series. His recent projects include Gustaakh Ishq and the web series Matka King.
