In a recent development, Manchu Vishnu has been re-elected as the President of the Movie Artistes Association (MAA). The decision was made during a General Body Meeting held at the Film Nagar Cultural Center today.
During the meeting, MAA Vice President Madala Ravi announced that there would be an upcoming fundraising event in Malaysia in July to support the association. Additionally, plans to construct a new building for the association were also discussed.
“The members of the general body unanimously agreed that Manchu Vishnu should continue as the president until the construction of the new building is completed. This decision was made without the need for a formal voting process,”Madala Ravi said.
“Manchu Vishnu's official press note regarding his re-election will be released tomorrow, providing further details on the decision and the association's plans for the future,”he added.
This Madala Ravi clarification comes in response to recent speculation regarding the leadership of the association. Since Sunday morning, news has been circulating about the possibility of a change in leadership within the Movie Artistes Association.
However, the committee members have reaffirmed their confidence in Manchu Vishnu's leadership by choosing to continue his tenure as president. The committee, consisting of 26 members, made the decision to retain Vishnu as president until the completion of the new building.
