What 'Squid Game' Did To Vishwaksen?

Young hero Vishwaksen’s latest movie “Cult” is hitting cinemas on October 30th, and the actor-director is making sure that the film gets talked about. However, after watching the trailer of the movie, a comparison with “Squid Game” is evident, and the hero responds to that quite casually.

In fact, Cult falls into the slasher film type, a subgenre of horror where a stalker goes to an isolated setting and keeps on killing people with sharp blades and knives. Even Squid Game also falls into the same. Vishwaksen says, “I’ve had this idea of doing a slasher movie even before Squid Game came into existence. However, after watching Squid Game and its success in India as well as Telugu states, I got the confidence to go ahead and make Cult”.

Apparently, Cult is full of thrilling kills and finally the hero, who plays a police DCP in the movie, finds out who exactly is the killer among those partygoers. It’s intense, gory, and also quite thrilling for a few, but the violence factor might work against the movie for some audience. Anyway, now that Vishwaksen is quite confident about the success of the movie, we have to see what holds for him at the box office.
