Vyjayanthi Movies Team Remembers Sridevi! Why?

A few days back, Vyjayanthi Movies banner officially released a statement claiming that all kinds of rights regarding 'Jagadekaveerudu Athiloka Sundari' are theirs and people who try to copy or remake it will have to face legal issues. A lot of debate started because of it. Many assumed that this announcement was given as Chiranjeevi started a fantasy project with Vasishta.

After talking about it for a few days, people started to move on. Suddenly, Ashwini Dutt and team released a poster of Sridevi from the iconic film and wrote, “As pure as she can get. As innocent as she is. Our Indraja is synonymous to peace and prosperity. She remains eternal!” While all this is great, people started wondering about the reason for this sudden poster release.

Sridevi was born in August and passed away in February while 'Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari' was released in May. The public are unable to understand why they released Sridevi's poster in such an untimely fashion. It is not at all for the promotions of their upcoming ventures or current projects like 'Kumari Srimathi'. There has been a lot of demand regarding remaking this film with Ram Charan as the hero again.

Even Ashwini Dutt has this idea in mind but the right director has to be selected. Sridevi's daughter Janhvi is entering Tollywood with 'Devara' already. We need to see if this project takes off anytime soon or not. While the team released a poster of Indraja, we have to see if the same will be done for Raju and Mahadrashta characters as well or not.
