One of the most talked-about heroines in recent times is none other than Wamiqa Gabbi. For the unknown, she has already made her Telugu debut long back with Sudheer Babu’s Bhale Manchi Roju almost a decade ago. However, the actress has shifted base to Bollywood and then did Punjabi cinema, and finally, a decade later, she’s getting attention for her powerful performances. She will be seen in director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s debut movie as a hero, DC, whose trailer was recently released and made a splash.

A newly released poster from the movie DC is now catching the attention of everyone. The poster has Wamiqa’s close-up shot, where she’s staring into the eyes of the viewer quite seductively. Usually, men take roses to women, but this time, the heroine is holding the red rose in her mouth, and that’s giving lots of vibes now. In fact, she’s playing the role of an exploited prostitute in the movie if the trailer is anything to go by, and how she joins forces with the hero to come out of the clutches of a mafia happens to be the narrative. The poster is currently trending everywhere.

On the other hand, recently Wamiqa expected a lot to happen from her Bollywood movie Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, a sequel to the superhit Pati Patni Aur Woh, but the film hasn’t worked out. The film featuring the likes of Ayushman Khurana, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh alongside Wamiqa hasn’t even touched the ₹30 crores mark in the first weekend, thus explaining the plight of such commercial masala films these days.
