Tollywood box office witnessed multiple new theatrical films this weekend in the form of Robin Hood, Mad Square, Empuraan, and Veera Dheera Sura. Now let us have a discussion and honest talk about the kind of verdict and the cinematic values these films posess.

In terms of content and sheer cinematic value, it is Vikram Veera Dheera Sura which top the list. This film has a bit more of Tamil flavour, and that could be one of the main reasons by the Telugu folk did not show much interest.

Nevertheless, this film has enough to make for a satisfying watch in theatres. Those who have watched the film are calling it a well made action drama. But the audience is very limited for this film.

Then we have Mad Square and Robin Hood, which can be put under the same segment when it comes to cinematic value. Both simple plot and can be watched only once for the comical appeal. Neither of them are great per se.

But comparatively Mad Square has opened well and this could be due to sequel advantage and also the funky comedy material. Robin Hood is also more or less similar to this setting but the delay in release is having a negative say at box office.

Lastly, we have Empuraan. This Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran film arrived with so much hype and buildup from the makers, but it turned out to be a weak product in the end. The box office collections are very good in Malayalam and overseas box office, but this is mostly due to the Mohanlal star power and the sequel advantage. With better contact, this film could have worked wonders at the box office.

In terms of cinematic value, it is surprisingly Vikram Veera Dheera Sura, which is topping the list, followed by Mad Square and Robin Hood while Empuraan comes last.
