Which Cameo Brought The Most Whistles In 'Kalki 2898 AD'?
Though we are aware of some of them prior to the release, the makers brought a lot of celebrities on board to play cameos.
The much-awaited 'Kalki 2898 AD' is out in theatres now. It is running successfully and talk from early shows is quite positive. Apart from the performances of the lead cast and grandeur, it is the cameos that surprised the audience a lot. Though we are aware of some of them prior to the release, the makers brought a lot of celebrities on board to play cameos.
We have Malavika Nair appearing in one scene as Uttara while Faria Abdullah appears as a performer in 'Complex'. Mrunal Thakur comes in an emotional scene and Dulquer Salman makes a guest appearance as well. Even directors like Avasarala Srinivas and Anudeep appear for a few frames. Vijay Deverakonda too plays a surprising role but it is a part of the story. Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma makes an appearance as well which shocked the audience.
But the biggest cheers and whistles came for none other than SS Rajamouli. The legendary director who made everyone go wild with their imaginations through 'Baahubali' made a guest appearance. The conversation between him and Prabhas brought a lot of cheers and laughs as well. They blurred the lines between reel and real life as their chat was highly entertaining in both contexts. We have already seen people going crazy for Rajamouli's entry during 'Ethara Jenda' in 'RRR'. But he appeared in 'Kalki 2898 AD' and people enjoyed his cameo the most. Everyone loving him on the screen and wished that he appeared for more than one scene.
SS Rajamouli is currently working on the pre-production of his next with superstar Mahesh Babu. It is a globetrotting adventure drama and people were happy to see the 'Chatrapathi' and 'Baahubali' duo onscreen together once again in 'Kalki 2898 AD'.
