Which Of The Senior Heroes Will Score Big This Time?

Sankranti season is always about big films clashing head-to-head. Last year, we saw Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna fighting with each other at the box-office with movies like 'Waltair Veerayya' and 'Veera Simha Reddy' respectively. Though both were termed as hits, it is Megastar's film that emerged as a winner with more collections.

Now, two more senior heroes are fighting against each other this Sankranti season. Venkatesh is arriving with an action thriller like 'Saindhav' while Nagarjuna is coming with a rural mass entertainer titled 'Naa Saami Ranga'. They are releasing on 13th and 14th January respectively. It is not the first time that Nag and Venky are clashing on the Sankranti season. It happened two times before and Venkatesh was the winner on both the occasions.

Back in 1989, Venkatesh released 'Prema' while Nagarjuna had 'Vijay' arriving at the same time. While Nag's film was a flop, 'Prema' ended up being one of the biggest musical blockbusters at that time. In 1992, the Sankranti season witnessed Nagarjuna's 'Killer' clashing with Venkatesh's 'Chanti'. As we know, 'Chanti' ended up becoming a blockbuster success while 'Killer' ended up as an average fare.

Venkatesh and Nagarjuna share no rivalry. Their fans too are not abusive on social media and Venky is known as a hero with zero haters. As it is aware, they are relatives in real life too. After all these years, they are arriving at the same time with 'Saindhav' and 'Naa Saami Ranga'. Let us see who comes up as the winner this time.
