Why Sudden Negative Aura On Chiranjeevi?

Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of the most celebrated heroes in Tollywood, and he commands the kind of attention and following that not many other senior heroes posses. However, of late things have been going horrifying wrong for Chiranjeevi while he is making public appearances.

Even last night, something extremely unexpected and untoward happened while Chiranjeevi took part in the promotional event of upcoming film Brahmanandam.

While delivering his speech at the event, Chiranjeevi said ''erri'' face on stage which eas quickly perceived as a slur word and he is facing backlash for the same. Shortly after, he said his house is loaded with girl children and he is raring to have a boy child. He further added that he wants Charan to have a boy child to carry the legacy.

While Chiranjeevi made these comments on a light hearted note and to generate fun at the event, they were largely criticised on social media and even led to an intense discourse in mainstream media.

There are several reports and comments on social media, as people are saying Chiranjeevi was showing his misogynistic side, when he said he wants a male descendant to carry the legacy. A few people are saying that it was unexpected of Chiru to say only male descendants can carry the legacy of a family.

For the mentioned reasons, Chiranjeevi is in the middle of a heated controversy on social media with several polar opinions being registered against him. But at the end of the day, Chiranjeevi is also as humane as one of us, and it is common for him to sleep tongue occasionally. It can also be noted that he absolutely loves all his grandchildren, and this pretty much shut the argument that he only wants a male descendant.

Perhaps it is time for people to read, not too much into what’s happening. He might have made these comments on a generic note and not have meant any harm or bad regard to females.
