Toxic is one of the biggest films from Kannada cinema in recent times, and it is preparing for release on March 19. In the meanwhile, the main hero of the film, Yash is giving out his opinion on the upcoming clash with Bollywood film Dhurandhar and here’s what he had to say about the same.
There is fresh discussion in the film industry after Yash openly spoke about release date clashes in Bollywood. The issue started after Toxic announced its release date in March last year. Now there are reports that Dhurandhar 2 may also arrive around the same time.
Yash feels that if another big Hindi film was planning to release on that date, the makers should have informed him earlier. According to him, proper communication between production houses is very important.
He believes that in the southern film industries, there is a clear culture of mutual respect. Producers and actors usually discuss release dates in advance to avoid unnecessary box office clashes.
However, Yash feels that this kind of coordination is often missing in Bollywood. When two big films release on the same day without prior discussion, it affects business and creates tension between teams. He says that a simple conversation could solve many such problems.
Fans are now debating whether Bollywood needs better planning and cooperation among filmmakers. Many agree that clear communication can help everyone grow together instead of competing blindly.
