The latest making video released on director Geetu Mohandas’ birthday certainly impressed fans with its visuals and scale.

If everything had gone according to the original plan, June 4 would have belonged to Toxic, not Peddi. Even before that, March 19th would have belonged to Toxic, not Dhurandhar 2. That is exactly what is frustrating Yash fans right now. Two good dates, especially a big solo release window of this scale has missed. With little to no competition, Toxic could have enjoyed a dream launch. So, what’s next for the film? What’s the best date?

The latest making video released on director Geetu Mohandas’ birthday certainly impressed fans with its visuals and scale. But it avoided answering the one question everyone is asking. When is Toxic releasing? But it looks like there is no good release date available for the movie in the second half of 2026.

July is packed with big Hollywood films like Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey and Spider-Man: Brand New Day. August has Salman Khan’s Matrubhoomi, Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947, Ravi Teja’s Irumudi, and Sharwanand’s Bhogi. September already has Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali and the highly anticipated Mirzapur movie, though Nani’s The Paradise hasn’t locked any date as being rumoured. November is practically impossible because Ramayana arrives during that period. Considering Yash himself plays Ravana in that franchise, a clash is out of the question. December is even more crowded with Shah Rukh Khan’s King, Dune 3, and Avengers: Doomsday targeting the holiday season, while some Telugu biggies like Fauzi might jump into the scene.

That leaves October as the most realistic option for Toxic. But even there, securing enough premium screens for the Hindi version could become a challenge. Some claim the OTT deal is still pending, hence the delay. The more the film is delayed, the more situation gets worsened around it.
