Yash Hails Lady Director For This Reason

As the film “Toxic” is coming right after the super success of the KGF franchise at a national level, many wondered why Superstar Yash chose a lady director for this action film. Many wondered if filmmaker Geethu Mohandas, who made some award-winning, soul-stirring Malayalam films, could actually handle the massive star image of Yash. However, with the teaser of the film, she has surely silenced her critics.
Talking about her in the latest edition of Variety magazine, Yash says, “The deeper layer of emotions that the male perspective misses out, will be brought from a refreshing angle by a lady director”. He stated that her involvement has brought a completely different and refreshing point of view to the film Toxic. He also stated that the film will break away from the standard and predictable action formulae we all know through Toxic and hailed Geethu Mohandas for doing things in a different way.

While the new date is yet to come out, some rumours indicate that Yash is actually re-editing the film for better presentation.
Featuring the likes of Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayantara, Tara Sutaria, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi and others, Toxic is yet to lock the new release date.
